The Marriage of Figaro – Special Production
A hectic evening or a crafted plot? The Israel Symphony and Gesher Theatre join forces in Mozart’s brilliant comedy of deception, passion, and the triumphant human spirit. The Marriage of Figaro returns to the stage not only as an opera, but as a vibrant theatrical experience. The orchestra does more than accompany the action — it reveals secrets, hints at hidden schemes, and becomes a living part of the story. The stage becomes an arena of intrigue, identity shifts, and social games, while Mozart’s characters give voice to love, desire, and moments of truth when the masks finally fall.
An invitation to a world where opera and theatre merge: every aria is a confession, every laugh carries a deeper truth, and every moment brings a new surprise.
